The hub is designed around verified identity, minimum necessary access, and clear boundaries between learning tools and official records.
Verified identity
Clerk handles registration, sign-in, password recovery, and session protection. StarPath checks authorization on the server before protected pages and data are returned.
Controlled enrollment
New accounts require a matching school invitation or administrator-approved enrollment application. Verified email alone does not grant protected student access.
Role-based access
Students, guardians, teachers, counselors, registrars, support staff, and administrators receive only the permissions assigned to their role. Administrative changes are recorded in an audit history.
Clear data boundaries
Private meeting links are not published. Official student records remain in Alma. Connected Classroom and Calendar information is read-only and appears only after authorization.
